Keybards covers a variety of topics, focused mostly on and around PC gaming. Discussion will sometimes delve into more general technology or internet topics as well. There will be a few main series of posts with some more free-form posts thrown in occasionally.
The current major series are...
- A Series of Noobs - Stories of less-than-intelligent users/gamers/etc.
- Bard Journals - Stories about the games we play; may include pictures, videos, and/or reviews.
- (It's a) Mod, Mod, Mod, Mod World - Information about interesting, fun, or impressive mods for various PC games.
- Tech Tales - "Random stuff from the internet," sometimes related to PC gaming, sometimes not.
- Videos - Standalone videos like trailers, comedic videos, etc. that do not fit into other series.

I'm a college student attending Penn State University and majoring in Biology. I used to play soccer, and enjoy skiing, computers and gaming, and reading. During the summers, I work at a kid-friendly amusement park (Dutch Wonderland, owned by Hershey) in the merchandise department.
I play a large variety of PC games, but I mostly enjoy RPGs, RTS, and FPS. I occasionally delve into modding/etc., but have only released things for Warcraft 3 (a few lame maps), Oblivion (one large mod and a variety of associated add-ons to it), and Fallout 3 (8 very small mods and 2 small mods). I only dabbled with personal modding for Morrowind, but I did create and run a Wiki of recommended mods for that game.
Before Keybards, I was running a small blog, GECK-Tec, with help from LePropugnator. GECK-Tec was dedicated to Fallout 3 modding (and occasionally just FO3 itself), but a combination of my boredom with Fallout 3 and less frequent things to post about has led me to mostly abandon it.

I'm a geek at heart, truly. A goon too, I suppose. Thanks SomethingAwful! I've lived in my hometown for most of my life, so I've got nothing interesting to say really, except that I also work in a boring computer retail store part-time. I'm definitely getting the hell out of here when I graduate (preferably somewhere a bit less hot). My hobbies are using the internet, gaming, biking, eating (though you wouldn't guess that looking at me), and hanging out with friends whom I, unfortunately, rarely see.
As for gaming, I'm pretty much a Jack of All Trades. RTS, FPS, RPG ± MMO, etc. I mainly enjoy FPS games, and I'm "pro" at Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I've spent so much time on that game. I've also taken to Battlefield 2, though I'm somewhat horrible at it for now until I play it more. Company of Heroes is a great RTS games, as is Sins of a Solar Empire. I've also recently bought Left 4 Dead 2, though I'm bored of it already as I've played L4D tons and it's basically that plus melee guns, some new zombies, and new levels. I occasionally play it, though. Also, I love Steam and Steam sales.
On the internet, I don't have much else to say. I visit lots of sites, posting on lots of message boards. Usually, I connect with "interfriends" using Xfire or Skype. Galahaut and I ran the blog GECK-Tec as well, though since Fallout 3 modding is about as active as a French whore on Bastille Day, we've unofficially abandoned the project.
Hope you guys enjoy the blog.
